Homelessness in Detroit~ The unemployment rate is still high. In most cases people are working, but report states, they are not making enough money to maintain a home, pay for utilities, and put food on the table every night. There are others that have been on the streets and in an addiction for so long that they do NOT have the ability to turn their lives around without receiving significant supportive services.

Many non-profit organizations have a difficult time purchasing equipment such as appliances, kitchen utensils, pot pans, furniture, clothing, toys, games, books, toiletries, towels, linen, beddings, computers, printers, marketing assistant, building materials, plumbing, electrical work, etc. If you have any of these essentials or can help donate or volunteer at one of our homes that we are working on, we would greatly appreciate any help, work, and donations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
